Winning more investment & bringing more jobs to our local area

Wherever you live in Solihull Borough, winning more investment and creating jobs in the Meriden constituency benefits all our communities.

The urban regeneration of Kingshurst; a new Community Diagnostic Centre in Chelmsley Wood; the inward investment into Birmingham Airport and JLR; and my bids for the mixed-use development at Arden Cross are just some of the projects I have been committed to seeing through to completion. I am pleased with the progress we have made, but this is just the start! Over the last few years I've also fought to successfully reinstate the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) in Solihull Hospital and widen access to health care services in all parts of my constituency, with a specific focus on rural communities.

Simultaneously, I am pleased that my Business Forum is supporting existing local businesses by offering support programmes, access to a network of business leaders in the West Midlands and from central government, and an opportunity to share their priorities directly with me.

I am passionate about implementing a comprehensive strategy that combines attracting external investment and nurturing local enterprises to drive economic growth across the Meriden constituency and enhance the prosperity of our communities.

Have a look at some of the work I am doing around winning more investment and bringing more jobs to our local area below:
