Saqib intervened in Julian Knight MP’s adjournment debate to bring the concerns of his constituents to the forefront.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Saqib said:

“I thank my Hon. Friend for securing this debate.

“Does my Hon. Friend agree that this is not an either/or situation; constituents in the north and in the south of my constituency deserve adequate police resources?

“And this has been a political decision, by the Labour Police and Crime Commissioner, to undermine the safety and security of residents across the borough of Solihull?”
