On Friday Saqib attended a Visit Knowle Board of Directors Meeting at Loki Wines, a West Midlands independent wine shop. It is a pleasure to work with Visit Knowle, who do an excellent job at respecting local businesses.
Organisations like Visit Knowle create vital public forums, allowing local businesses to get together, share ideas and voice opinions as a larger unified body.
Saqib commented "As a former President of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce I understand how important it is to have a strong voice for local business and I was certainly encouraged to hear about the amazing developments taking place in Knowle.
Listening to meetings like these reaffirms to me the beliefs I hold most dear, the need to support local, independent entrepreneurs. That is why I will continue to pressure the Government to reconsider the policies which are causing the most harm to our business community.
