This week I had the pleasure of visiting Abbot, a global leader in healthcare and life sciences with a strong presence right here in our community.
I was incredibly impressed by the cutting-edge work being done across their facility from diagnostics and medical devices such as cutting edge cardiovascular technology, It was great to meet the passionate and skilled team driving innovation that not only supports patients across the UK but also plays a vital role in our local economy.
We spoke about the importance of investing in science and technology, strengthening our life sciences sector, and supporting skilled jobs in the region. I’m proud to see companies like Abbott making such a positive impact both locally and globally.
