Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Federation for Small Businesses breakfast in Balsall Common. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local entrepreneurs and hear about the challenges and triumphs they face every day.
As the Member of Parliament for Meriden and Solihull East, I know firsthand the vital role small businesses play in our economy, both nationally and here in the West Midlands. Having run my own small business and served as the president of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, I truly understand the hard work and sacrifices that go into making a small business thrive.
Small businesses are vital to our economy, creating jobs and driving innovation. It’s essential that we continue to support these businesses, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to succeed.
I will always support entrepreneurs in everything that I do and I will always hold a soft spot for small business owners who are always grafting away!
