It was a pleasure to visit the Solihull Youth Hub in Chelmsley Wood with Cllr Karen Grinsell and Cllr Heather Delaney and meet the dedicated team who are helping young people across Meriden and Solihull East take their next steps into work, training and apprenticeships.
The Hub, which opened in 2022, brings together support from the Department for Work and Pensions with a fantastic range of local partners, including Solihull Recruitment and Training Centre, Solihull College, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, the Salvation Army, Mental Health Matters and local employers.
Whether it's careers advice, skills training, mental health support, housing advice or connecting with local employers, the Youth Hub offers a welcoming place where young people aged 16–24 can access the help they need.
Thank you to everyone at the Solihull Youth Hub for the warm welcome and for the important work you do every day.
