Pensioner's Fair flier

Saqib has invited constituents to his Pensioner’s Fair. Following the success of Saqib’s first Pensioner’s Fair in Knowle, he has decided to bring the event to North Solihull so that every part of his constituency benefits from the event. The Fair will be held on the 22nd November, 11.30 am – 1.00 pm, at the Onward Club, 107 Helmswood Drive, Chelmsley Wood, Solihull, B37 7NS.

The Pensioner’s Fair will bring together a range of businesses, charities and community groups that offer specific services for the pensioner community across the Solihull borough. The exhibitors will include domiciliary care providers, care homes, energy companies, and several community outreach groups and charities. The Fair aims to provide information about all the local opportunities for the elderly community so that more people have access to the full range of services available. Exhibitors will be able to provide information on the day and answer any questions attendees might have.

All the money raised by the Pensioner’s Fair has been donated to Age UK Solihull, a wonderful charity that provides many different types of support to the elderly community in the Solihull borough.

Commenting on the event, Saqib said:

“Following on from my first Pensioner’s Fair in Knowle, which saw over 100 attendees, I am thrilled to be bringing this event to Chelmsley Wood. I hope that the Fair will bring people together and provide support for our elderly community.”

“We have a great list of exhibitors who will be providing information on the services they offer and will be available for a chat on the day. Come and join us for a chat and to pick up information on some exciting opportunities!”
