Last Friday, I visited John Henry Newman Catholic College to meet with the Year 12 Politics students for a lively Q&A session.
I was impressed by the enthusiasm and confidence of the students. They asked thoughtful and challenging questions about my role as an MP, the realities of working in Parliament, and the beliefs that guide me.
It’s always inspiring to meet young people who are so interested in politics and public service, and I left feeling energised by their passion and insight.
A huge thank you to the staff and students for such a warm welcome. I look forward to visiting again soon!
