I have been contacted by a number of residents regarding the poor condition of the Station Link Road to Birmingham International train station, particularly concerns about potholes and the general state of the road surface on the way to the train station.
I understand the frustration this is causing for motorists, cyclists and other road users, and I have therefore raised these concerns directly with Solihull Council, National Highways, Birmingham Airport and the local business park to seek clarification on responsibility for maintenance and to press for action to address the issues.
I will continue to follow this matter closely and push for a resolution from the relevant authorities.
