Marie Curie Fundraiser

I was delighted to come along to the Marie Curie Fundraiser in Marston Green yesterday. 

This amazing display of charitable fundraising is organised every year by Linda Poulson. The fundraising efforts consist of a large book sale, which relies on generous donations from the public and is open 24 hours a day, with a yellow bucket for honesty donations. 

Last year, Linda’s stall raised an amazing £1,041. These efforts form part of the wider Marston Green Marie Curie Fundraising Group activities, who in the last 11 years have raised in excess of £160,000. 

I am incredibly proud to represent great volunteers like Linda, and the rest of the Marston Green fundraising group who have raised so much. Thank you.

Ps I was very popular with the little ones when I got home with the Winnie Pooh book collection.
