It was fantastic to hear directly from these young leaders about the challenges they face and the changes they want to see from taking a stronger and preventive approach to knife crime, preventing the damaging impact social media has and creating more opportunities for skills development and future careers.
Their honesty, energy and commitment to making a difference was incredibly powerful. Programmes like Youth Voice are a brilliant example of how football clubs and their foundations can play a vital role in supporting our communities and empowering young people.
A huge thank you to Manchester United Foundation for hosting us and for the incredible work they continue to do across Greater Manchester.
We’re committed to building an education system and youth services that listen to young people and work for every child, in every community.
