Happy Chinese new year to all those across Meriden and Solihull East, I hope you enjoy welcoming the Year of the Horse.
I was delighted recently to join our local community, alongside the Mayor of Solihull and neighbouring MP Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP, for a vibrant showcase of culture, music and tradition. It was wonderful to see so many families and friends coming together to mark the occasion in such a joyful and uplifting way.
Lunar New Year is a time to celebrate heritage, reflect on the year gone by, and look ahead with hope. Events like this highlight the strength that diversity brings to our Borough and the important contribution made by members of the BNO Community through their voluntary work, support for local causes, and commitment to helping others.
