It was a pleasure to meet Brechan, an Electrical Engineering Degree Apprentice for Rolls-Royce, at this week’s ADS Parliamentary Apprenticeship Reception as part of National Apprenticeship Week.
The reception brought apprentices from the aerospace, defence, security, and space sectors to Parliament in a celebration of the brilliant opportunities that available via alternative pathways. Brechan, alongside his colleagues, shared great enthusiasm and insight into the value of apprenticeships for career progression.
It was fantastic to learn more about the opportunities available to young people in Meriden and Solihull East, and indeed across the United Kingdom, so I thank Brechan for sharing his knowledge and passion about the value of apprenticeships and the fantastic opportunities afforded through alternative career pathways.
