It was brilliant to visit Wise, a thriving Solihull-based business playing a major role in the UK logistics sector.
Alongside Company Director Dan Richards, I learned how Wise has risen to become a major national player, signing contractual relationships with Amazon, DPD, UPS and others. Their software ensures drivers in the UK have the necessary credentials to work legally, including valid Right to Work documents and driving license checks.
It was also pleasing to hear that their outstanding work is being acknowledged locally, as well as nationally. Wise was named winner of the ‘Solihull Digital Revolutionary Award 2025’ at the Solihull Awards, hosted by the Solihull Chamber of Commerce.
This award celebrates innovation, creativity and commitment to advancing digital process in Solihull and across the UK.
My visit was another reminder of the incredible entrepreneurship and business talent we are fortunate to have in our community. Thank you to Dan and the Wise team for the invitation.
