It was a pleasure to host a Business Forum Breakfast at Solihull Moors, bringing together local businesses from across Meriden and Solihull East to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing our local economy.
Having previously served as President of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, I've seen first-hand the determination, resilience and ambition of our local business leaders. I understand just how vital our job creators are to growing the economy, supporting local families and creating opportunities for the next generation.
We also had an important discussion about expanding work experience opportunities and creating stronger pathways into employment, ensuring more young people can develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
I look forward to continuing to work alongside our local businesses to ensure Meriden and Solihull East remains a fantastic place to invest, grow and succeed.
