It was a real pleasure to welcome students, teachers and mentors to Parliament for the Solutions for the Planet Big Ideas Competition National Final.
The Big Ideas Programme gives young people the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to sustainability challenges while building valuable STEM, enterprise and teamwork skills. Seeing so many talented students present their ideas with such confidence and passion was genuinely inspiring.
I was especially proud to welcome Arden School, who represented Meriden and Solihull East so brilliantly by reaching the national finals.
A huge thank you to Solutions for the Planet, the teachers, mentors and everyone who supports this wonderful programme. Investing in young people, encouraging innovation and empowering the next generation of problem-solvers is something we should all champion.
