On Friday Saqib was invited to a morning gathering of the Parkinson’s Cafe at Balsall Common Methodist Church.
The Solihull Parkinson’s Café is a friendly and supportive group where you will be able to find information and advice about living with Parkinson’s in the Solihull area.
Saqib commented "I had the opportunity to sit and listen to those who have to deal with this debilitating disease every single day of their lives and the struggles and difficulties they have to deal with.
I pledged to the group my support in the fight for them to receive the community care and support they deserve and depend upon desperately.
I will be writing to the Minister for Heath and Social Care to directly ask what the Government is doing to increase provisions to support those who suffer with Parkinson’s disease.
Thank you to the cafe for the kind invitation to come along and talk with the group.
If you would like to get involved with the cafe, as a carer or you suffer from Parkinson’s you can find more information about the cafe here https://solihullparkinsons.org.uk/solihull-parkinsons-cafe/"
