It was a privilege to take part in a panel discussion at University College London on the deeply important issue of baby loss.
This is a subject that touches far too many families, often in silence. Hearing directly from clinicians, researchers, and those with lived experience was both moving and incredibly valuable. Conversations like these are vital if we are to improve support, raise awareness, and drive meaningful change.
I am also proud to support the work of the locally based Lily Mae Foundation, which provides essential support to families affected by baby loss, their work and efforts are invaluable to this vital cause.
As Vice-Chair of the APPG on Baby Loss, I remain committed to ensuring that this issue receives the attention it deserves in Parliament. We must continue working together to break the stigma, improve care, and support families through the most difficult of times.
My sincere thanks to UCL for their kind invitation and for bringing together such an important discussion.
