Earlier this week, alongside his colleagues in the Shadow Ministerial team for Culture, Media and Sport, Saqib held a roundtable discussion on developing AI and the copyright laws around it.
Saqib commented "Speaking directly to industry leaders and key stakeholders on issues such as the development of AI is always incredibly insightful as it gives an on the ground, first person perspective about the concerns and thoughts businesses have and how we as legislators can best shape the law to allow growth and effective regulation at the same time.
I am proud to serve as the Shadow Minister of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and I will continue to work with industry leaders to ensure that their voices are still being heard as we enter this new technological age."
